Practical questions about generated audio

I have been sorting a collection of song demos for a family archive. The collection includes generated tracks with filenames that reveal very little. I want future listeners to know which file is the untouched source. Any experimental processing would go into a separate folder with a short note. Would you include the processing date in the filename or keep it in a text record? I have seen the terminology ai audio artifact removal in this context. I would avoid using that label as a promise that every flaw has disappeared. Recording the exact section and the settings would make later comparisons easier. The archive will include a short explanation of where each demo came from, who supplied it, and whether the copy was exported again or changed after the original file was received. I would appreciate a simple naming convention that someone else could follow years later.
